As a writer and photographic stylist, Bob has produced many hundreds of articles for titles including BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine, Gardens Illustrated, Garden Answers and Gardenlife. He is currently a major contributor to the Consumer Association’s Which? Gardening, for whom he creates inspirational themed borders and ‘make-it’ projects.

He has also worked on various television gardening programmes, most notably, Garden Club, Channel 4’s longest running and most popular horticultural offering. Programme proposals flow regularly from Bob’s pc, so, perhaps, one day, one of those ideas will reach the right person at the right time!

Bob’s books include Container Gardening by Numbers and the hugely successful Crops in Pots, which has now been translated into several languages, including Greek! Two further titles are in the pipeline.
